Applications:

This is used for checking the coating thickness of wet paint, enamel lacquer, adhesive, architectural coating, color coating, varnish, chemical industry, or other coating that has been applied to a smooth surface. 


Measuring Principle:

1. Select comb according to approximate thickness. 
2. Hold comb perpendicular to coating to be measured. 
3. Press into coating until the comb stands square. 
4. Wet film thickness is between the highest step coated and the next (higher) step which remains uncoated.
